Conservation Officers in Derbyshire (CODS) is an informal association
of all local authority conservation officers in the County, dealing
mainly with historic buildings, historic areas and archaeological sites.
The group includes some officers from neighbouring Councils and a few
representatives of local amenity societies. CODS meet quarterly and is
an opportunity to discuss issues and topics affecting the local cultural
heritage as well as to share information and learn about new projects,
services and changes in the built conservation field. On this page are
the agenda for the forthcoming meeting, and the minutes and any
attachments from previous meetings. Contact names for all historic
building conservation officers in Derbyshire can be obtained from the Derbyshire County Council website.
It is important to note that CODS meetings are NOT
open to members of the public. However minutes of each meeting and
associated documents are available to view.
