Conservation Technologies
The conservation services offered are: Condition surveys, scientific analysis, conservation treatments, stabilisation and laser cleaning, Ultra Violet and Infrared Investigation and authentification of sculptures. Their practical experience is wide-ranging and their knowledge of different materials is extensive. They also offer 3d digital recording of large and small objects for visual recording, restoration and archiving purposes, from these 3d laser scans it is possible to create a virtual restoration through digital computer modelling, and produce replica sculpture in various materials. In turn this could be used for commercial or educational purposes. Erosion can also be monitored if scanned and compared periodically. All work carried out to museum standards.
